We were proud to announce the FamilyFarmed.org Good Food Business Accelerator at the Good Food Financing & Innovation Conference on Thursday, March 14th! Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel presented opening remarks, and Whole Foods Market co-CEO Walter Robb led an all star opening symposium with Howard Tullman of 1871 and Erika Allen of Growing Power. The 2014 Conference, sponsored by Crain’s Chicago Business, was bigger and better than ever!

Farmers, Industry, School Food, and Policy Stakeholders came to learn about growing a business, serving local food in schools, and Good Food policy at the Trade, School Food, and Food Policy Day!
 
Farmers, Entrepreneurs, and Investors interested in financing the Good Food Movement or getting their food business funded joined us for the Good Food Financing Conference!

FamilyFarmed.org’s mission is to expand the production and distribution of locally grown and responsibly produced food in order to enhance the social, economic, and environmental health of our communities.

The Good Food Festival & Conference is just one of our many projects. Other projects include Wholesale Success Trainings for farmers around the country, as well as work with School Food and Food Hubs.
