Enjoy two amazing days featuring exhibits with family farmers and artisanal food producers. Watch demos from some of LA’s best chefs. Enjoy street food from vendors who source from the Santa Monica Farmers Market. Browse a food-focused bookstore with author signings. Purchase green products from sustainable and food focused vendors. Visit Rediscovered Gems: WPA Agricultural Art featuring remarkable paintings by Works Project Administration artists from the 1930s. In addition to the workshops on gardening and urban homesteading, enjoy music, great people, and the beautiful campus of Santa Monica High School.

Grow Your Own!

Grab your gardening gloves and hat and bring your questions, your curiosity, and your family to Grow Your Own! A variety of local experts will demonstrate what you need to know about garden basics, seed starting, seed saving, fruit trees, container gardening, backyard chickens, beekeeping, worm composting, pest control and more. Also included are speakers and panels focused on school food and school gardens.
